PE

Autumn 1 Feedback

WWW

Pupils demonstrate high levels of enjoyment and engagement during PE lessons and show genuine enthusiasm for physical activity. They respond positively to the curriculum and the broad range of activities provided. All PE lessons follow a consistent structure and incorporate weekly forest time, supporting both routine and outdoor learning.

The quality of PE provision could be further enhanced by ensuring that warm-up activities consistently reflect the variety outlined in the PE Passport plans, and by ensuring that all staff present are actively involved in supporting and engaging pupils throughout each session.

Autumn 2 Feedback

WWW

Children have enjoyed PE this half term.

They shared that the range of warm-ups and activities has made lessons feel much more fun and engaging.

They also appreciate that they’re moving more and spending less time sitting and listening, and said they feel tired after PE.

Some children requested that PE assessment filming is completed during the first attempt so pupils don’t feel the need to repeat activities.

Some children stated that they do not like missing even a small amount of PE if it their intervention/reading session.  Year 6 pupils suggested that their reading volunteer could attend on a different day, so they don’t miss out on their PE sessions.
